Didn't put this in the gangster thread in case it got lost but the Harlow set is now 59% off at Amazon. Looks like many of the TCM sets are discounted.

FYI...This past weekend I saw the Harlow and a few other TCM Classic sets-including Errol Flynn and John Ford-for 9.99 at Costco.

Here's your link for the Harlow set. If you do a simple "tcm greatest classic films" search in "Movies & TV" you'll get 'em all. Only a few are excluded.

I'm struggling to get this one as I have wanted the Warner Comedy Collection set. I messed up by bypassing this 2 1/2 years ago on sale and now that the price is so expensive for that set, I may have to to get this one for the two movies (I have the other two films on the Clark Gable Warner Signature set).

all the films are good, but Libeled Lady is one of the best comedies of the 30's....

DINNER AT EIGHT is my favorite of the four, a truly legendary 1930's movie. I wish there were more Jean Harlow dvds - it's shocking how few of her movies have been released on the format.

I thought CHINA SEAS or WIFE VS SECRETARY were the best on that set. LIBELED LADY just slightly behind, but still recommended. DINNER AT EIGHT boasted an incredible cast, but it was painfully slow for my liking. Though most seem to like it, I found it to be overrated.
