Looks like Paul is coming out July 26th. My source is the pre-order sheet at my local FYE. The sheet is usually right when it lists specific dates. As an example Green Hornet was on the sheet on May 3rd long before it was officially announced. I pre-ordered and fully paid for it myself as I had 20% off thanks to my birthday,so I pre-ordered and fully paid for $650 worth of DVDs & Blu-Rays. I myself can't wait to pickup Paul as it is by far my favorite movie of the year so far.

It starts off a bit rocky IMO, but once Paul shows up, it's smooth sailing. Not the most original or funniest movie in Pegg/Frost(/Wright)'s canon, but an enjoyable, well-made movie.

As most have said, not in the same league as "Shaun" and "Fuzz", but a very funny film. I had a great time watching it and will pick it up, day one.

It's like they knew that July is the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Challenge! Day 1 purchase? Probably not. But I did enjoy it quite a bit and the Blu is on my ever-growing, I'll-never-actually-own-even-a-fraction-of-it wish list.

Well can one of the mods change the title to 8/09/2011 instead of 7/26?
And does anyone know if the UK Blu-Ray that comes out next week is region free? Because I cant wait to get my hands on this plus I really like the steelbook available on amazon.co.uk.

All Universal Blu-Rays are region free. Also, the Amazon.co.uk listing says "Region Free" right in the title.

I actually liked this much more than expected (and more than Hot Fuzz which I wasn't a huge fan of). While not nearly as clever as the other frost/pegg flicks it is a very entertaining road trip flick. Think it'll be something of a cult classic and should find an audience at home. Surprisingly dark in spots.
To note yes, I thought Hot Fuzz was clever, just boring.

I reviewed the UK edition, which is likely to be identical to the US version: http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/50988...ion-steelbook/
Good extras, although perhaps not quite as packed as Fuzz or Shaun.
