Some of these deals are from buy.com marketplace sellers and are not available for FSSS. Partridge Family S2 was 4.86 and S3 was 6.08, but required separate postage.

Ron Howard set is up to 10.19.

The JOHN WAYNE, LUCILLE BALL and ELVIS links posted above are dead. Did they sell out?

Excellent price on the VAL LEWTON set, which is one of the finest box sets ever released. Those waiting for a Blu upgrade on these films may be in for a wait as the source material for these old RKO films may not ever merit a Blu release.

The Bing set gets lukewarm reviews and the Rock Hudson set even less than that, but I may wait to see if Big Lots gets them sooner or later at $5.00 each and no shipping cost.

The Lucille Ball set is still there if you just search buy.com under movies. I got the W. C. Fields set which was the cheapest I've ever seen for 12.99 shipped. I already got an email that it shipped. Thanks for the tip on it Kndy

The Bing Crosby set went down to $3.95 last night, both at Buy.com and in the Amazon Marketplace, so I went for it at Amazon and saved myself tax. A bit more than what I would pay at Big Lots, if they ever get it in for $5.00. It's now up to $4.39 at Buy.com.

Greetings ProfessorEcho, do you know if the Screen Legends Carey Grant or Jimmy Stewart hit $5.00? Those are the only two Screen Legends that I need for my collection but have been waiting patiently for those to drop in price like the others.

Hi Kndy. So far no reports of any Screen Legend sets showing up for $5.00 or less outside of the Bing Crosby one. The Rock Hudson set is still $5.99 at Buy.com.

The Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne sets are all over $10 at Buy and at Amazon. I would love if these came down like the Crosby and Hudson ones or went to Big Lots for closeout like the Universal Gary Cooper and Brando sets. Keep checking!
