Looking for a Streaming Video Solution for a New TV

Hi, I recently got a new hdtv and it has no streaming video features on it. I've been looking into a few solutions (Roku, Boxee, Apple TV, Google TV, WD TV Live) and find myself completely puzzled over the features and performance on most of these even after researching them deeply. I was wondering if anyone there owns any of these and what their recommendations are. I prefer something stand-alone and am on a limited budget (due to disability) so I can afford up to $200 for the item plus $20-$25 a month for the type of stuff I like.

My interests are:
(Classic) TV - Late 1950's to modern days
Movies - 1930s to 1980s (mostly Horror, Scifi, Comedy, animated)
Anime - 1980s to this weeks.
Pro Wrestling - Modern Indy Leagues.

I've heard of some specific channels I'd like Prelinger Archives Classic Public Domain Film Channel, Crunchyroll, Hulu Plus, Anime Network. Are there any other channels you'd suggest offered on the box you use? Thanks in advance for all the help, I'm very lost with a lot of this newer tv technology and could use all the help I can get .

Roku XDS for $100 if you need wireless, Roku XD for $80 if you have a wired setup (both allow access to bunch of public domain movie channels for free), netflix w/streaming $8/mos, and hulu plus for $10/mos should keep you entertained

Do you have stored media to send to the TV, or just want streaming? Roku should probably be top of the list, maybe Apple if you have a lot of your own media.

Looks like all 3 versions of the Roku box have wireless built in now, FYI.

I'm very happy with the WD TV Live Hub, maybe a bit pricy at $200 but I had need of the 1TB of storage.

I'm using the WD Live Hub & like it. BB often has it with a $25 gift card.

Thanks everyone .

While I do have a bunch of stored media I primarily need it for the streaming video. My internet router is wired but allows wireless as we use it to get our internet on the other computer. Does the Roku have built in storage when used as a stand alone?

It's definitely the one I plan on getting but won't be able to for another 2-3 weeks. Luckily Amazon is now selling it for the same price. Has there been any official announcement as to when Hulu Plus will be coming to the WD? I heard they've said sometime fairly soon.

I just ordered a WD Live - hopefully it will work for me.
