Fell behind 2 weeks, but managed to get caught up. It's been said before, but Jimmi Simpson (Lloyd) absolutely makes the show. His lines are hilarious and I like the solid chemistry with team has. Even Erica has fit it really well.

Another great episode. I still think this show is doing a great job keeping the episodes fresh with the different escapees and their motivations. I thought this episode would have been a little repetitive with the girlfriend helping the convict escape, but it turned out quite different from the first episode. I still think they need to kill someone that escapes (we've only had one person get shot, but I don't think he died) and have someone actually get away.
This show could just be a boring procedural, but the cast is great and works well together. Jimmi Simpson is definitely the standout, but the rest are fine as well. Erica has integrated quite nicely; I definitely think her character is more interesting than the con artist we had at the start.
Again, this show works because of the characters and the focus on character development. I loved how Erica sort manipulated Julianne into making a move on Ray so she could confirm that Lloyd was interested in Julianne. And there at the end, when Lloyd stood up to Ray; it was nice to see Ray recognize that Lloyd liked Julianne and instead of yelling at him, gave him advice, like they were friends. I was sort of annoyed by Shea, but I get why he was frustrated; sometimes he does seem like the least useful member of the team, but he was pretty useful in this episode.

Aside from some great character interactions, this show constantly delivers with the humor.
Erica: "...mango."
Lloyd: "I'm not a US Marshall. I'm a criminal. I'm one of you guys!"
Lloyd: "My death is on your hands Ray. I'm holding you responsible for this."
Ray: "The gun wasn't loaded Lloyd."
Lloyd: "That's a great plan Ray...what about his gun?"
Ray: "That's a fair criticism."

Jeff Kober!
at Lloyd trying to slam the three-hole puncher to impress Julianne.
I agree that the cast interaction is what makes this show fun. I actually didn't care much for the Mickey & Mallory-type storyline this ep; it was more of a backdrop to the real meat of the episode.

Lloyd's line about being one of them was a big laugh out loud moment.
