I think that tonight Matt will redeem himself, trust Rob again, and be to sent to Redemption Island for a third time.

Regarding the previews this week...

Spoiler:
Since it's a double eviction there is no way they can fit in 2 immunity challenges, 2 tribal councils and a RI duel in between all of that. I guess this means they'll start amassing people on RI and have a single duel (endurance) to select which one returns to the game.

If the final Redemption Island duel is who can walk on water the longest, we'll know who the producers favor.

Re: Survivor: Redemption Island -- April 13th, 2011

Wow, I'm posting after the first break. The way they give Matt air-time like this, it almost makes me think that he will come back and win the game. They will vote for him at the end because of his faith in himself/god and beating all the people. No way they would give him non-stop air-time if he's the 3rd out after the merge.

Matt will come back, and it will be a great story, it was God's will that he will win the million dollars like he says, he will say he will give to charity and a happy ending.

Phillip should probably be locked up in a mental hospital.

I loved the Zappaterras bitching about the others not playing the game cause they would talk to them. Morans.

I'm bored with Rob's smugness and Phillip's insanity.

Phillip is awesome.

And even if Rob is still around and all the other tribe is gone, I think his tribe will finally grow backbones and get rid of him ASAP. No way he makes the top 3.

I'm surprised no one on Ometepe is being friendlier to Zap. When they get to the finals the jury will be mostly Zap. They really are Rob's puppets.

And why the hell did Zap vote for Phillip immediately after saying he was on the bottom of the 6? Silly silly people.

That's what I was thinking at the end of the 2nd challenge. I would not be at all surprised if the 3 blonds turn on him, Grant, & Phillip at some point.

Yeah, Phillip is the best thing to happen to Survivor in a long time. He is everything that Coach wishes he could be.

If the show has aired yet you haven't watched it, you should probably stay out of the thread.

I am really shocked Rob's entire team didnt opt out and eat. They had the numbers and I think it would have been worth taking the risk.

You don't want to put a target on yourself from within your alliance. Since they couldn't talk it over then it made sense to play. For instance, I'm sure Rob knew he couldn't win that, but why create any level of resentment.

The show is starting the foreshadowing for Grant's turn on Rob. One, I don't think we've seen enough of Grant to have any interest in him as a TV character. Two, I'm not sure he has the votes (aside from Natalie being aligned with Rob we have no knowledge of the inner workings of that alliance). I certainly would take out at least one or two more people before I would consider flipping. I'm sure Rob's thinking about that too though.

I thought the same thing! Why would it matter if someone on Zapatera won? Even if it had been David they could have voted off Steve or Ralph. And it would have been even more demoralizing for the Zaps to have to fight amongst themselves.
