DVD Talk review of 'The Civil War - Commemorative Edition'

I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of The Civil War - Commemorative Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=49224 and...

Did you see a lot of jitter to the picture? The DVD that I have jumps around without end. I was surprised when the broadcast last week on PBS used the same jittery master. Is that the best they have?

I watched the whole thing but only noticed distracting jitteriness in one or two shots, which I suspect was simply because the whole thing was shot in 16mm, and not as steady as 35mm. You have the Commemorative Edition or an older one?

I have the PBS DVD Gold edition. I think it was the first DVD release.
