Don't you have AT&T? It's on channel 799 (Reelz lists all the channels on their website) unless your just being sarcastic because you don't have time to watch it or you don't get Reelz in HD. I don't get Reelz in HD on Directv, so I have to watch this on my SDTV.
I heard of this network, but they were primarily known for showing movie trailers and movie/TV news shows. They bought this series to get them some publicity since most people probably never heard of this channel.

I can't imagine the ratings will be very good on Reelz. This probably would have done much better on History if they had not cancelled it.

Curious to see if this puts Reelz on the map. I read an EW article the other day where Greg Kinnear hadn't even heard of the channel. I suspect millions of others hadn't either.

It sounds like Jon Cassar's post on Twitter is begging for people to watch this...haha
I need all those true blue #24 fans to watch #TheKennedys and pass the word on. We want lots of eyes on the premiere tonight, help me out.
I don't have Reelz either, so no go for me.

The Kennedys pre-show is basically an advertisement for Reelz and the programming they offer. Can't say I blame them for taking advantage of this opportunity to promote themselves.

^ Yup, but I assume they figured that those who already have Reelz likely didn't know it because they tuned in to the channel for the first time tonight. I know I did
Anyway, I thought the first two hours of this were pretty damn good

I'm glad to hear that the series seems good. Always been a fan of Cassar, but post-24, he seems to not have any luck.

What do you mean he hasn't had any luck? He directed all 8 parts of this, 1 episode of Criminal Minds, 1 episode of Human Target and 1 episode of Fringe. He also signed on as Director for Terra Nova on FOX. I say his post-24 career has been pretty successful.

Hollywood Dailies their signature program has been advertising this for about a month and all of their hosts and corespondents are all saying this is the best series ever produced about the Kennedys (sounds like corporate spin).
They also had several behind the scenes shows on the making of the Kennedys.
Still I wonder why they cast Katie Holmes as Jackie O?? All the other people involved are good actors except for her.

Glad to hear this was good. I looked but didn't have Reelz, so I'll have to wait 'till it comes out on other means.

I was too tired to watch last night, although I caught a bit of it where it was 1938, when Joe Kennedy was Ambassador, and he was talking to his sons Joe and Jack (not Kinnear, but a younger actor), and kind of "schooling them" on how to mess around with women.
Seemed good. I can see why the real Kennedys didn't want this film out. Frankly, HBO should have picked this up, not a nobody network like Reelz. This mini-series will tank on this unknown network.

Maybe, but AMC was around for a long time, and people did watch it more than occasionally because it came out before TCM, and AMC was the only channel around that played all the old movies. It was a better network in the past, and played a better selection of films, as opposed to now.
Reelz is no AMC.

Per Cassar's twitter
#TheKennedys - 1.9 million people watched the premiere - A big THANK YOU from all of us to everyone one of our viewers. Eps#3 Tuesday 8pm
Looks like people were able to find the channel and watch, as that number has to be considered a success

do they still do Niellson Ratings? I thought that, since Satellite and Cable and all the rest came out, monitoring what people watched became a thing of the past.
Guess not!

Anyway, glad it was a success. But I'd like to get a review from someone saying what they thought of it.

Don't forget Part 3 is tonight at 8pm ET/PT If your on the West Coast and have Directv, you can watch it at 5pm.
Synopsis for Part 3:
The Bay of Pigs disaster prompts JFK to make a difficult decision.
Very interesting take on the miniseries. This is a good read. The guy thinks it was stupid for History Channel to dump this miniseries.
