Synopsis:

Spoiler:
When Alice asks Ben for an assistant, he gives her Roman. Roman may not be what Alice had in mind, but she finds a connection with him that surpasses her expectations. Meanwhile, Crystal wants to honor a passing friend with a funeral at The Sunshine Center, and Alonzo comes clean about a past relationship.

Episode 8 of 13

FYI, Next week (episode 9) is the last scheduled episode to air. I assume if this gets a 2nd season, episodes 10-13 will be saved for then. If not, they will probably be burned off this summer.

Or on Netflix streaming, like the last two episodes of BOT.

So is it not doing well then? I enjoy it more than most other comedies currently on the air, but that's not saying much. If it were gone, I wouldn't miss it too much I suppose.

Roman and his girlfriend need their own show. :P

I just don't get this show. I mean, I do, it's an off-beat sitcom with supposedly talented people, but I just don't get it. I watch each and every episode, without fail, but I'm not even sure I like it.

There are def some funny gags, and well timed laughs, but this show seems stuck in neutral.

There's one every week. Do the Cougar Town fans need a support group?

I thought this show peaked with the fourth episode when Ben tried to know all the employees names. It's been downhill since.

For those of us missing the cul-de-sac gang, NYMag has been posting some great behind the scenes videos while show is on hiatus:

Cougar Town - Writers vs Actors

Looks like they'll be in Hawaii for the season finale.

According to Jeff Winger 'Cougar Town' sucks, and I'm gonna take his word for it.

I agree with ya.

I also have a weird thought that Matthew Perry may be the weak link on his own show. How weird is that?

I disagree. I think that Allison Janney and Nate Torrance are the weak links. I think the show could jettison both their characters and wouldn't miss a beat.
