RAD 25th Anniversary Aug. 19-21-2011 Event / RADrospective Documentary
For all the RAD fans out there, there is going to be a RAD 25th Anniversary event being held in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada on August 19 through 21 2011
The event is being sponsored by Vans and will include all things RAD including stars from the film which include Bill Allen (Cru Jones) and many of the riders from the film.
Which "stars" will be attending the event are not yet posted.
There is also a documentary being done for the film called RADrospective. A small clip can be viewed at the site.
DVD release will probably be announced (dont take my word for it) at the event.

The site was created by Jeremy Moser who was in the film and one of the driving forces for the event.

The lady in the video is Lori Loughlin (Uncle Joey's Wife on Full House). She looked fine in her day!

A few years ago Vans re-issued the Rad Vans and I bought a pair. Seeing that they are the official sponsor of this event, I'm hoping they say they are going to re-issue them once again since mine are thrashed now.
She's always been hot. Definitely the best thing out of Full House.

Seattle, Wash. area filmmaker Marc Dewey, a self-professed "addict" of the 1986 cult BMX film "Rad," is currently creating a retrospective documentary on the film. Titled "A Radrospective: A Documentary About the BMX Film Rad," Dewey is in the process of securing funds to complete the project in time for the 25th anniversary celebration of "Rad," hosted in the town that served as the filming backdrop for "Rad," Cochrane, Alberta, Canada on August 19-21, 2011.
