Some great scenes with Gibbons and Hennessey tonight. Didn't really care much for the drug dealer sub-plot -- got more entertainment value out of watching Wysocki juggle the two women in life.

Same here.

I really like this show. I hope it sticks around for a bit.

Adam Arkin.

Creepy how it seemed like Gibbons knew about the arson and bringing Liam to the house.

Adam Arkin was great -- hope we see more of him. Gibbons is such a good villain in this show -- Delroy Lindo plays it perfectly. Loved the back-and-forth between Gibbons and Hennessey over a glass of scotch in his office.

The Gibbons/Hennessey scenes were fantastic, with lots of tension and subtext. The A plot was pretty good, too. This show has really hit its stride.

This show is not going anywhere......it will be strong for the remainder and I feel confident we will be watching season 2 next fall.

The spot where the drug dealer jumps into Lake Michigan is right near where my aunt and uncle tailgate before Bear games

Re: The Chicago Code -- "Black Hand and the Shotgun Man" -- 3/21/11

A week late, but I managed to finish this up tonight.

This was a much better episode than the self contained plot that aired the previous week.

The scenes with Liam and Gibbons were awesome. Gibbons is such a sinister villain, but I love how they have kept it really subtle so far. The last scene where he took Liam to the house of the guy he killed and then Liam later turned around to Colvin saying he was in all the way to take him down was great.

Loved Evers constantly bugging Wysocki about his personal life and the energy drinks.

And I cannot believe that Wysocki would screw around with his Ex when he has Camille Guaty as his fiancee waiting at home. Although his Ex isn't too bad. Gotta love the man whore.
