Permanent Vacation, Stranger Than Paradise and Down By Law all street on the 23rd in Japan. It says they're Region A. No idea if they have any extras. Saw a thread on Blu-Ray saying that they might be 1080i. Anyone have any further info on these?

No idea, but that sounds like great news. I hope these aren't in 1080i though. Maybe Criterion can put these out on Blu-ray sometime soon. A re-release of Stranger Than Paradise with Permanent Vacation included in High Definition as an extra sounds perfect.

No way I'm spending Japanese prices when I'm sure these will show up from Criterion soon enough.

Their Publisher is King Records Co. and their list price is 3990yen each.
They have 1080i image and linear PCM sound tracks (mono). No Extras.
