Overlooked Metal-PowerPop-Punk-Rock Album from 2007...
Monty Colvin released the third album from his band/solo project Crunchy in 2007, but since he released it independently it totally flew under the radar.
This album isn't for everyone. It's quirky.
It's a combination of influences including Metallica, Anthrax, the Ramones, Cheap Trick, Green Day, the Foo Fighters, and, of course, his prior band the Galactic Cowboys (with their Beatle-esque or Crosby Stills & Nash style vocal harmonies).
If you, "Get it," then this album is fantastic. If you don't? Well, you may not like it at all.
Here are some samples of all 15 songs from the album - Loserville...

I'm not a fan of the Beatles so the vocals lose me. I get it, I just don't like it. Too bad because otherwise it sounds great.

You could say that BFS borrowed a bit from the Galactic Cowboys Power Pop Metal side (both bands were from Texas, the Galactic Cowboys just came a half decade earlier).
But it is a fair comparison.
