The NCAA game will definitely push the starting time of "TAR" by at least half-an-hour (5 min. to go in the 2nd half) but there's always the chance of OT (yes, G. Mason could score 40 unanswered points against Ohio in the last 3 min. ). Pad the DVR by 30 and you're cool.

CBS's NCAA Coverage just went off the air (7:15pm ET) 30 minute pad should be good.

GREAT episode. Cowboys should have gotten 2 penalties for poaching other team's taxis.

Re: The Amazing Race 18 -- "Don't Ruin the Basketball Game" -- 3/20/11

I have a problem with K&V not having any sort of penalty for finishing last in the keep racing leg. They were hours behind, but they got the catch up train which pretty much nullified the entire last episode. Granted they had the 30 minute penalty, but that was b/c of their not following the rules in the last leg.

Keep racing legs should only be used when teams..uh..keep racing. If they wanted it to be a non-elimination leg then they should have had to do a speed bump.

Could someone please make a gif of Jaime humping the dinosaur skeleton?

Globetrotter game with the cowboys, Ron's Kabuki rant

Coupled with having some difficulty in locking the ladder, no wonder she didn't muster up enough energy to complete that puzzle...or show any kind of enthusiasm in the exit interview.

I agree, essentially the leg before didn't matter. They performed horribly and didn't suffer any real consequences. I've seen it happen in other seasons though so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. That was the first time, however, that I saw someone u-turn a team while they were standing right there.

Its what you get when you again start complaining about being an American in a foreign country. I mean it sucks the driver has to get gas but you should be used to it by now.

Sides, those two would hate being in Calcutta next week. They'd be sexually harassed out there like crazy. I hope they're not putting them on the train this time.

They would have gotten the ole "Perceived female Jewish spies reporting on the revolution in the middle of Cairo" treatment.

PFJSROTRITMOC'ed for short.

Kent and Vicky keep getting lucky, and I hate them.. the train should not have put people on even ground.

I cheerleaders should have decked K & V after asking them to come stand with them, while they decided to u-turn the them.

And yes.. goodbye eye-candy.

Even though it probably wouldnt have affected anything I dont think the cheerleaders should have been able to u-turn the globetrotters. The only teams that should be able to u-turn people are the ones that are finished with that section of the race, since the cheerleaders were u-turned they werent done with that section.

I told my wife the exact same thing when we were watching last night.

And I also thought that the emo people shouldn't have been told their penalty way before they had to sit it out. That is an advantage that no other team that muffs the rules gets.

And I missed last week's episode so I was curious how much of a time advantage did their breaking the rules give them (I believe they said they used a super train or something)? Was it more than the 30 minutes they had to sit out?

Are you talking about the Goths? There was no advantage, they got lost and missed the required flight so they had to take a later flight.

I never understood why they were considered Goths... I'd say they're more "Pride parade through LazyTown".

I never though Goth men wore full makeup and pink clothes. Maybe just some eyeliner or something like that.

I was surprised that Luke and Marge did not u-turn the sisters. Why did the producers even bother to show the "bitch" comment if there was no payback?

Re: The Amazing Race 18 -- "Don't Ruin the Basketball Game" -- 3/20/11

Damn, I was hoping Jaime and Cara would do better this time around. Honestly, I would have rather seen Dustin and Kandace a 3rd time instead of them. I thought they had a little more personality than J&C I know those guys were 0 for 2 on the show and came close to winning both times.

I guess Flight time and Big Easy made up some time when Jaime and Cara had to stop for gas.

It really didn't seem like the double U Turn did much damage in this leg.

Gary and Mallory were so lucky they had that Express Pass. I can pretty much guarantee they would have been eliminated this leg without it.

I would have hated being the Producer & Editor editing that Dinosaur building segment. I bet that took a few hours. That was probably brutal to watch and cut down to make into a compelling segment.

I can't believe Kynt couldn't be swayed by the centerfold cheerleaders' charms on the U-Turn mat.
