Ana Torv's impression of Nimoy was spot on.

First half I was distracted trying to think of where I'd seen the actress before. It was driving me nuts till it clicked. Deadwood. Wasn't until the end at the explosion scene I noticed the FBI guy with glasses was the Fringe team leader from the other side.

Paula Malcomson has been on many shows. Deadwood. Caprica. Sons of Anarchy. And it feels like she's guested in just about every show I watch. Check out her IMDB.

Re: Fringe -- "Stowaway" -- 3/18/11

i remembered Sun shooting her on LOST

---

i liked how Astrid was getting subliminally molested by Bell

i bet there is a big blooper reel of Anna Torv doing Bell in the episode, it looked like she couldn't keep a straight face doing the Harvard lab scenes

i wonder if they are going to incorporate that guy "Lincoln" into more episodes

One thing that crosed my mind, a fill-in for Peter who is either missing or stuck on other side for a series of episodes.

Apparently noone was watching Fringe live last night. Ratings were an all-time low. College Basketball was partly to blame.

I couldn't watch because the sound cut out fifteen minutes into the episode. It didn't have sound again until the last 10 minutes. Thankfully they are airing a repeat tonight!

Yeah, unfortunately I have to DVR it all the time and watch it later. I love this show, but rarely get to watch it at the time it actually airs.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lincoln ends up becoming William Bell's permanent host. Quite convenient that he showed up at the same time as Bell's ghost.

series low 1.3 in the Demos and under 4 million viewers against March Madness. I would be shocked if Fringe came back.

I was at a party, but I watched it on my DVR as soon as I got home.

I really liked this episode. I would love to outtakes from it though. I bet Torv has some doozies in there somewhere.

I loved the part where they were considered transferring Bell into the cow.

I want Lincoln on Fringe team "over here". Don't know where he would fit in though but I think he's a good character.

Really solid FotW episode. They've come close to mastering the FotW that still builds on the mythology episodes. Hope they get another season and with the good reviews the show seems to get I think it might.

Re: Fringe -- "Stowaway" -- 3/18/11

Anna Torv was so good in this episode. It's too bad that most of those fucking idiot Nielsen families weren't watching.

Her Leonard Nimoy impersonations were so good. I'm 100% buying the BD for this season and hopefully they will have a featurette or deleted scenes about her channeling her inner Nimoy.

at Bell/Olivia saying how confining a bra is. I also got a chuckle when Astrid was freaked out by her and started to button up her shirt.

Paula Malcomson is one busy actress. She was on this, Lie to Me, Private Practice, Sons of Anarchy, Caprica and The Event all in this same TV season. Her character's storyline was a unique freak of the week episode.

This whole ghost Bell story arc feels like the final nail in the coffin for Fringe.

I dont think its a nail in the coffin.

But it does introduce the possibility that just because it's Peter's body in the 'machine', it doesnt mean its his mind putting him there.

This was great. Ana Torv really really delivered.

I kept laughing during the episode.

Needs more Cowbell.

I like how the "return" of Bell made Walter act like a giddy teenager again.

When Lincoln first showed up, I couldn't place him. It was until he introduced himself that I figured it out.

Thanks to the propensity of the shaky cam when movies or TV show amateur video, I was surprised at how steady the camera was that showed Dana Gray getting off of the car.

I hope there is a featurette on the BD that shows how they came up with the idea of Olivia channeling William and outtakes of Anna doing that. I bet she was impersonating Nimoy on the set and the writers ran with it.

Everything is affected by basketball. TV executives know this.

Anna Torv has really come a long way since the first episodes, and that's not her fault. I always thought "Olivia" was just what Anna Torv did with any material. But considering you can totally tell the difference between Olivia, Fauxlivia and Bellivia just by the way they talk and move...that says a lot about her abilities.

I enjoyed this episode a lot. I hope Lincoln comes back on this side at least a few more times.

I've never been the biggest fan of Torv's acting (or look for that matter), but I have to agree with you here. And now that I've seen pics of her in other situations, I've changed my mind on that as well.

Fans are being too kind to this episode because in all likelihood Fringe is not coming back. I thought the extended Bell impersonation was one bad joke. The writers should have never made Nimoy a key part of the mythology if he was going to retire from acting. Situations like Olivia having to be possessed for an entire episode by him to include the character is a classic jump-the-shark moment.
