Cool to see Paul Scheer, another 'The League' alum, appears on the show. That brings them to three so far I think. Looks as though casting directors Nicole Abellera and Jeanne McCarthy have worked on both shows.
Callie: "Wow, when you buy a car you just start seeing it everywhere, huh?"
Adam talking about "Callie Moves" killed me; totally nailed the uncomfortableness and digging yourself even deeper.
Adam: "I took a bad situation, and I made it worse with words."
Callie: "Yeah, we call that an 'Adam Move.'"
Ethan and Paul Scheer teaming up when Adam tried to sell the car back. I loved how Callie got so many extras thrown in for free because she's a cute girl, and Adam, Mike, and Ethan got nothing in comparison. And Mike's little brother's explanation for dedicating the book to Lisa was great as well.

Okay, how is this show associated with The League? Both are set in Chicago, both used the exterior of Gibsons Bar (last week on this show) and this week Paul Scheer (Andre) was a guest star. Is there more linking these two shows or are these just coincidences?

One post above, I mentioned that the casting directors are the same for both shows.

Agreed on all counts. I hated, hated the pilot. Thought it was another Perfect Couples godawful show, but gave it one more episode. So glad I did. This is easily the best episode so far. The "Callie Move"' was hilarious and worked in in a believable way, not a typical over the top comedic plot line. The whole car thing was great, and I agree, picking the last name was genius and just plain funny how their relationship evolved, with him eventually trying to screw Adam over to help out his buddie. It was nice to see the guy from Reaper, thought the stuff with the book dedication was great. Nothing can top Raising Hope, but this is a great show to pair it with. Sure as hell beats the godawful show I can't even remembers name now it was so bad.

I like this show, but it totally feels like like a PG version of The League.
