Yeah, eerily odd timing on the nuclear talk.
I watched last weeks and tonights, back to back, and I have to say tonights was a snoozefest. Loved last week's though.

I liked the explanation that Thomas was directly responsible for Chernobyl.
Hated Sean in this episode. 1st he turns his back on Leila and then he acts like a douche in the bar and to his sister. Get over dude, your hot girlfriend is half alien!! Ritter's character is really getting annoying.
It was nice to see Vicky again after being MIA for several weeks.
The episode was slow, but it did pick up near the end with the ambush on Simon's team.
at the alien named Carlos. So they have Mexican aliens along with Black, White and Asian? Gabrielle Carteris looks really old. Really hard to believe she's 50 now.

I thought it was a good episode and continued a decent comeback for this show. Looking forward to the next ep.
I didn't mind Sean in the bar or with his sister. He tried over and over to walk away from the other guy in the bar who was the douche. I thought it was kind good to see that guy get his ass whipped by Sean.

Gabrielle Carteris, i had seen her name on the opening credits but i don't even recall her part in this episode
maybe i was bored
*smh* @ Chernobyl and yeah all that nuclear rod/meltdown stuff was weird timing
i do remember saying wtf briefly at the beginning of the episode, but then i quickly realized it would be a dream sequence

I would think they'd have a little more security to protect a shipment of uranium than 2 SUVs. I've seen college football team buses get better escorts than that.
And, look, it's Zuckerman!

You didn't recognized her. It's like they put 50 years on her. (Or that she's actually 50 years old )

I also believe with all our spy satellites that the President could find Thomas' portal site. We can see it with our eyes, it doesn't appear to be cloaked. We can either suggest to the country that they let us invade in force or we nuke it. It's out in the middle of nowhere, somewhere. NSA has an app for that.

Down to 4.2M total viewers last night. Will be shocked if it gets renewed. After the 3 month break, I'm hoping the writers & producers realized the inevitable was coming and wrap this up nicely. It's a shame too, as I have enjoyed this show for the most part.

At least this show isn't centering itself around mysteries so much - instead, it's just trying to be an action sci-fi adventure. Most of the cards seem on the table, We know what the aliens want (good and bad factions). We know the mystery of the girl's father. I think we have a pretty good idea what Hal Holbrook's group is trying to do:

I read something about Evan Katz saying the main arc for this season will be wrapped up, but they will leave the door open for a 2nd season because episode 22 will have been completed long before NBC makes a decision.

I was wondering how they can make a teleportation portal but not a communicator that functions without ripping it out from underneath your skin.
