House -- "Out of the Chute" -- 3/14/11

House collector figure

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
A young professional champion bullfighter is admitted for treatment after being attacked by a bull. After conducting multiple inconclusive tests, the team enlists House's advice outside of the hospital while he attends to a few issues away from the case. Back in the hospital, the bullfighter's condition continues to worsen, but with disappearing symptoms and the patient's more frequent mini-seizures, the team's last option is risky open-heart surgery. Meanwhile, Masters develops a crush on their bullfighter patient much to Taub's surprise.

Re: House -- "Out of the Chute" -- 3/14/11

I thought this was one of the best episodes in a LONG time, probably because House is finally House again. The opening scene was incredibly well done (which they almost always are), and the ending was cool too. Glad to see Wilson go to bat for House. Only thing I thought was odd was when the new chick asked the bull rider out and he basically just stared at her. Thought he was having a relapse of some sort...

the promos for that ending were so misleading, but in a good way.

he just didn't find her attractive and wasn't sure how to let her down...so she did it for him. That part was awkward Very good episode, loved Carnell and thought the bow scene was hilarious. Great ending too.

So his life as a bull rider is Over. He has a semi-attractive, well off financially Dr asking him put and he essentially says no? Idiot.

Enjoyed the House relapse stuff, didn't care for the Bull Rider guy, except the surgery with his heart was pretty crazy.

I'm sure she's a decent actress, has pedigree, and is a decent person, but when I look at her on House, the word "homely" comes to mind far before semi attractive. In fact, I was tempted recently to go watch Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants or something to see if she's always looked like this. She seems like she's put on a lot of weight. Also, I think she's very young on the show. Now I'd be the first to say there's more to a woman than being thin and cute, but I'm just saying.

I remember her looking like this: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2488507648/nm0848554

Amber Tamblyn is not homely. I wouldn't say she's drop dead gorgeous, but she's cute in the same way that Valerie Bertinelli is cute.

A few pounds makes that much of a difference in how you view a woman? Wow.

Amber Tamblyn was way hotter last year on the Unusuals.

Hilarious episode. I wish I could afford to hire that many high class hookers. The bow scene had me

Do you know what a straw man argument is?

Isn't she still only a student? Forget if she has family money or not, though. But how would the bull rider know that?

Definitely agree with that.

Not attractive at all to me and it has almost nothing to do with her weight.
