This show... I don't know. I like it, but it's terribly predictable and way too much time is spent in the morning commute conference call. I keep waiting for that spark.

I don't mind it. You can pretty much say the Friends gang spent way too much time in Central Perk or that the HIMYM crew is always at McLaren's. For this show, that's their hook.

Yeah, but they were at least together. This is just more "modern", I guess and we need to believe these people have careers and do most of their socialization this way. That's fine, I guess. It's just a bit off-putting for a sitcom.

Agreed on the car talk. I said as much for last weeks thread, and said the reason I didn't stop watching after the godawful pilot and the reason I thought last week's episode was the best yet was due to significantly cutting down the car cell phone scenes. I get the name of the show is Traffic Light, but they need to realize having scenes, and a significant amount of time each episode, to conversations in cars in cell phones is the weakest part of the show. Not only that, but that it just doesn't work on TV period. The show has a good cast, funny characters, and chemistry between the couples. It would be far more successful and get better ratings if they just cut the car stuff out totally.
I thought tonights episode was great aside from that though. Two of the three plot lines were hilarious. The stuff with Magda was priceless. I nearly died laughing when he made the comment about going upstairs to make "More workers for the fields." in an awful Eastern European accent. The stuff with the shut-in neighbor who hears everything was likewise hilarious, and a really bizarre and unique plot line. This show is well written with some weird plots that are all pretty darn funny. I just wish they'd cut the car stuff off, not only for my enjoyment of the show, but so that there's a possibility of a season two.

at Callie yelling "hello!" to the dog owner, assuming she's hard of hearing since she's older.
I got a chuckle out of the guys shooting down the Pixies as the great American band.
Hilarious episode all around.
(I like the cell phone conversations in the cars).

Yeah, I don't see any problem with the car conversations either. They're all together in my tv box just as much as other people having conversations.

I'm still watching, but it FOX were to cancel it I would not miss it. Perfect Couples is the much better show of this style.

Magda was the same actress who played Mrs. Ganesh from "Drag Me to Hell" right? I thought it was funny that they had her play a "lite" version of that character especially when she cursed them after finding out they weren't married. The Mike & Lisa stuff is always gold.

This show is slowly getting better. At first I couldnt stand Adam or Ethan. Now I simply cant stand Ethan. I thought the stuff with Adam, Callie and Magda was great this episode.
