Mad Love -- "Little Sister, Big City" -- 3/07/11

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
When Kate's younger sister, Julia (Brittany Snow), makes her first visit to New York, an overprotective Kate seems to forget that Julia is no longer a little kid. Meanwhile, Larry and Connie decide to be each other's wingmen at the bar.

Brittany Snow (Harry's Law) Guest Stars. Very weird to see her on 2 shows in the same night. Good choice to have her play Kate's sister.

Despite mixed reviews, I'm really enjoying this show.

Pretty "meh" for me. Maybe this show isn't the same for me without a new HIMYM as a lead or i'm already sick of it

It's still kind of blah but I don't mind it as a 30 minute time killer. It's why I watch Rules of Engagement every week too.

I did like the scene where Connie was wingmaning for Larry. In case anyone was wondering, the whole idea of a girl going after a guy because she saw that guy turn a girl down doesn't work (it does make sense in theory though). I try it every time I'm out with a wing-girl. The "Haaaave you met Ted?" from HIMYM works like a charm though.

I really like this show. I know everyone hates Tyler Labine, but I enjoy his style (yes, I know people say he's ripping off jack black, but whatever..haha)

I hate Tyler Labine, Jack Black, Dan Fogler and all of the same ilk.

I love me some Sarah Chalke, Judy Greer, and in this episode, Brittany Snow.

Tyle Labine always brings the funny. People always seem to get down on the funny fat guys. My theory is people tend to hate the types that they most resemble except are much more successful. Fat geeky guys crackin' wise browsin' the internet taking issue with other fat geeky guys getting more attention. ....at least that's the theory.

I like Labine and the rest of the cast on this show, but the writing is pretty mediocre. I'd be fat if I wasn't so OCD about my food intake.

Their looks have nothing to do with my disliking them - their constant over the top obnoxious behaviour does.
