I wish FX would get off their high horse and start putting past episodes online. I watched all but two episodes of season one that way, but so far haven't seen a single episode of season two because I don't use a DVR and the SD broadcast is garbage.

So I'm confused, you have cable, don't have a DVR, won't watch the SD broadcast, but want to see it online, which is in SD anyways?

Liked Black Shawn's guest appearance. Pretty interesting story; fleshing out more info on the other characters at the Marshal's office.
Still think the opening scene with Raylan and Mags Bennett was the best, although Boyd was super strong this episode. Interested in where (if) they'll take Boyd and Ava. I'm not saying that somewhere down the line Boyd won't revert to his past life, but this is way too soon. (Didn't even feel like a good cliffhanger anyway. Wondering what he'll have to do to get out from under this or if Ava will sense Boyd's change of heart and take care of the problem for him so he isn't under continual pressure.)
(Didn't realize I wasn't noticing it, but Ava looked really good tonight; I guess that's what others have talked about this season.)

I like how they set up Rachel's brother-in-law as this reactive, violent guy and have us believing he just snapped and murdered her sister, to find out he was really just trying to rush her to the hospital and save her life.
Raylan and Mags have the best scenes together, really great stuff. Looking forward to seeing what the history is between their families.
I'm interested in seeing where they take Boyd with these criminals and wonder how it will affect Ava. I hope he doesn't go back to his old life, but just sets these guys up to get caught.
It was nice to get some more backstory on Rachel and the other characters this episode, hope we get to see more of Tim's background sometime soon too.

at Tim telling Raylan how lucky he was that he got to shot his own father and Raylan telling him it wasn't as fun as he thought it would be.

The writing on this show is well crafted. Raylan's dialogue is just the best thing going on TV right now.

Exactly, on all 3 counts. BShawn did a great job, between being real nice and real bad. But that opening scene: Whoa. Brilliantly acted/done all the way around. Only problem is it had me hoping they'd advance that story a little more but instead most of the rest was on BShawn. Boyd is a brilliant character, but unfortunately it looks like he may be reverting to his old ways...

I was supposed to be a magician! How am I supposed to do magic now?

Well for starters, FX doesn't own the show. Sony Pictures owns it and licenses it to FX. Internet streaming rights for cable shows, especially FX vary anywhere from 8 days to 1 month. I assume Justified won't be posted until 1 month after it's initial broadcasts, if that.
So I'm confused, you have cable, don't have a DVR, won't watch the SD broadcast, but want to see it online, which is in SD anyways?

I'm pretty certain Comcast still broadcasts SD in 480i, while Hulu is 480p

Not one of the strongest episodes, but still good.
I like the slow burn on the main storyline, while I'm eager to see where it heads, if they spend too much time on that it may sacrifice the ability to develop some of the supporting characters. I hope they continue to occasionally blend the case of the week into the arc (like the oxy ripoff last week) and I'm guessing they will continue a slow build until the final couple of episodes.
I also like how they have been able to keep the Boyd character essentially on the fence and his character still can go either way (good or bad). I do expect one more "Fire in the Hole" line this season...

That line about her sending him a jar with his name on it was great. Aside from that, I agree with the overall sentiment that the standalone story was weak compared to the ongoing story arc. Hopefully next week will be better.
