After much hassle, and babbling on about their bad customer service etc, etc. I managed to get hold of a meesley $5 webcert.

My question is, can it be used for purchases in the UK?

Just wondering if I can knock it together with a Amazon.co.uk promo GC.

I believe you can, since a Webcertificate is a Mastercard that can be used anywhere. It also allows you to put an international address as your billing address, so I think it will work with Amazon.co.uk. A word of caution though: you can only add funds to a Webcertificate using an American credit card, not international. I had to refill mine using Freeride points.
