Terribly written episode but enjoyable nonetheless... it was basically a season of 24 squeezed into 2 hours.
Noticed that the names they used for the remaining two "patriots" were Evan Bauer and Jack Cochran... got a kick out of that.

I wanted to complain about how the writing staff seem to be falling back into the poor job they were doing at the end of season two, but this person did it better than I can:

Anyone else think this was a step back for the series writers'? I expect a season three ending that is just as lame as season two's, but a bit worse because they already did it once. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't like the way things are looking ...

I thought this was a well written episode that took a split from the norm.
I liked that they gave some believable motivation to the bad guys and the seemingly harsh homeland security guy from Heroes.

That was funny as hell!!! These last two episodes rank up there with the top eps of this season. I am kind of getting tired of the Castle and Kate Beckett moments of looking at each other like they want to say how much they truly love each other but then nothing. I realize that is part of the draw to the show which will never be resolved until the show is in its final season but maybe they could tone it down a bit.

Not the best episode. The first partwas better, even with the weak x hours previously plot device. They went for serious dramatic, but the episode about her mother did that 10x better. I did like the cold intro though.
Maybe, but it seems like they're reaching a boiling point as this season goes on. I do think the show could be worse off though, because I hunk their witty banter would need to be played down.
Was the DHS guy bluffing last week about the mayor not knowing who Castle was?

I thought this was a good episode too. One thing i didnt like is how easily the bad guys gave up the info.
The stopping bomb at the last moment was cliched but still it was well done.
