And yes, the show is not shot in Cincinnati for the few of you complaining it it looks cheap. It's shot at the Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank, CA.

Bates is only 5'3" ... So either they are all really short or thats some nifty camera trick shrink them.

I like the show so far although I wish Boston Legal was still on instead. According to DEK, the show will be going in new "direction" after this episode. I'm curious to know what changes he'll be making. Who knows maybe we'll get a visit from Alan Shore? He's a hoot you know.

Plenty of shows were/are shot on some backlot and never made it look like the sets were made out of cardboard. This show is just that...cheap. The lamp posts look like Styrofoam.

Been a little behind on Harry's Law, but I managed to get caught up on the last 3 episodes including this one today. With anywhere from 5-10 hours of shows per night, I know it's easy to forget about the 10pm shows that aren't heavily serialized.
Christopher McDonald has been awesome. I love his absolute hate for Adam. I got a laugh at his fear of the African Albinos in this episode.
The episode itself got a little preachy with the discussion on Illegal immigrants and genocide of the Albinos. But, I thought it was pretty well executed. I am interested in seeing how they re-visit this case.
And I think they are gradually giving Brittany Snow more substance than being the materialistic ditz. I liked how she and Harry butted heads in this episode and their heart to heart talk at the end.
The characters are gradually becoming more likeable. I love Tommy Jefferson though. If this gets a 2nd season, I hope DEK makes him a regular.
Poor Malcolm. The hot broker turns out to be running a car theft ring.

This show got all of the preachy and none of the funny of Boston Legal. I liked it at first but I don't recall laughing once in the last two episodes. If they don't recapture the funny soon I'm done with it.
