Big Love : Episode 50 "Til Death Do Us Part" 2/27/11
Wow, in a single ten-week run, they manage to run this show opposite the Grammys, the Oscars and the Super Bowl. Thank God for DVRs and On Demand.
Pretty obvious by the title what happens this week. Should be a fun watch.

Since there are so few episodes left, I'll stick out this season. If it were coming back next year, I don't think I would watch it.

I've been underwhelmed with this season but still holding out hope it'll all come together in the end.
I have a couple more previews up here...

....
I guess they just completely wrote Teenie out of the final season. I think they made a brief mention of her being away at school or something. It's strange that they would hire a new actress to play her for one season, instead of just getting rid of the character last season.

I hope the show ends with Bill and Albie killing each other.
Figured it would be Margene that put two and two together with Cara-Lynn and her teacher.
Seems like a lot to wrap up in 3 episodes.

That was a hell of a shitstorm to unleash in the 4th from final episode. Wonder how it gets wrapped up.
Of all of it, the biggest surprise was the sealing. That really seemed unlike Bill and a very shitty thing to do. Wonder what was going on with Don Embry -- that seemed pretty ominous. As was the neighbor storyline : that one doesn't end well.
They should have just had Barb catch Lois trying to kill Frank. That could be plausibly covered up. Once a nurse catches you trying to kill an inpatient, things tend to get a little more complicated.
And speaking of things that should be explained but aren't : did Bill forget he has a brother? You'd think he'd at least mention something about wishing his brother could have been there.
BTW : Next week is the third consecutive one with a super-obvious title -- Episode 51 "The Noose Tightens".
Ya think?

I think Don is in the same boat as Barb. He isn't willing to risk everything just to prove a point.

I too am glad this show is ending. It is just going haywire. I have been over Nikki's hypocritical rants for a while now. And Marge is just nuts with her get rich quick pyramid schemes. I'm interested to see how it ends but doubt I will ever rewatch this series... a first for me with HBO shows I've watched all the way through.

I can't help but think that if this were a novel (and I'm not even sure if the show was based off a novel or not) that the story would end with a lot of misery and Bill would get punished for his selfishness. Since this is a TV series, I cringe that it'll have a generally happy ending and Bill will not pay for his actions.

I've said it before, Bill is like Tony Soprano. Selfish and full of shit.
I hope he gets "his" at the end of this series. Even Bill Paxton's "Bill voice" irks me.
