DVD Talk review of 'The Last Unicorn' (Blu-ray)
I read Adam Tyner's DVD review of The Last Unicorn at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=47057 and...
as much as I love this film, and I do, I've seen it dozens of times and memories of it are speckled throughout my childhood, I can't understand how people are so attached to the idea of grain in animated features. Granted, DNR, is not the way to go, but I think that Disney's idea of remastering is wonderful and more in line with the proper way to view these films. That probably wasn't an option for this film, I'd imagine for budgetary reasons, but still, it would have been an improvement. I'm buying this either way, and I can only hope that my son loves the film as much as I did all those years ago!
