I hate reading the descriptions of new shows. There are like 8 names in that synopsis and I have no idea who any of them are.

They miscast Heather. I would tag that, hard.

I'm out, I'll find something else to watch in this spot until Cougar Town comes back.

I had a lot of fun with this episode. And, yeah, Heather is cute even if she's a psycho. By the way, who was the actress who played her sister? She looked so familiar and it was bugging me that I couldn't remember where I've seen her before.

She did look familiar. I loved the look Perry gave when she licked him back.

I'm digging the show. It's not hysterical like Modern Family, but I really like the cast & characters and they seem to be hitting the right notes, just coming up a hair short.

Enjoyable though unexceptional show, good enough to keep me tuned in following Modern Family. Not sure I'd seek it out otherwise.

It's Lindsay Sloane. She's been in quite a bit of stuff. The Wonder Years and Sabrina are probably the most memorable. She was also the girl on HIMYM that Ted blind dated twice.

Heather's sister, Stephanie is played by Lindsay Sloane

3 episodes of a show set at a sports arena and we haven't seen a sporting event yet, but two concerts?

If the showrunners tone down the hijinks and wackiness, I think I'll stick with it. Now it's on Recorded on my DVR while I'm at work and watched ASAP to make room for other stuff status.

That's pretty much how I feel. Allison Janney dragging the dog around at the end cracked me up.

Hockey kicked off the series.

Most of the arenas I'm familiar with, sporting only accounts for a fraction of the time. Gotta make money all those idle times like for away games and the off season.

Also, I can't imagine how that matters since they're not actually showing the event

Yeah, I don't see that as a big deal at all.

I'm liking this show, but it's more in that enjoyable enough time-passer category than anything special right now.

But she's batshit crazy. She's supposed to be someone you want to tag, but are too scared to actually do it.

Looks like a chunk of the dog show plot got dropped. Ray Wise (Twin Peaks) was credited and you could see him in the final shot of the episode with one of the dogs.

And the Basketball team that called the arena home left town.

finally saw this one on hulu today. Pretty lame. Too much Roman. Waaay too much. The dog thing was okay, crappy CGI and all. I'll keep watching, but won't be terribly upset when it goes on the trash heap.

Re: Mr. Sunshine -- "Heather's Sister" -- 2/23/11

I've always liked Mathew Perry but I'm beginning to think that he's better in smaller chunks. While I'm not expecting a lot from this series other than a few minutes of mindless entertainment, this episode struck me as one long string of "Let's get Mathew to do one of his funny expressions" in every scene. Sometimes less is more.
