Good episode mainly for Cooper and Sherman, but I was disappointed with how the Sammy storyline played out. So he chickened out shooting the guy and just abandons him in the dessert.
Wow! Kay Lenz looked like a plastic surgery nightmare. That whole storyline with the washed up actress committing perjury was strange.
I do have to say it was another solid performance by Cudlitz. I liked how Cooper lost his cool several times and constantly butted heads with Sherman. The character is struggling with his addiction while trying to do his job.

No not yet. I would guess a decision will be made by the start of summer at the latest. The ratings have been pretty consistent (1.8-2.2M viewers a week), but not great for TNT's standards. Dark Blue got similar ratings and got cancelled, but it was a far inferior show creatively.
