Dean leaves Sam (Jared Padalecki) to investigate a case alone and rushes home to rescue Lisa, however, he's not prepared for what meets him at the door. Judging be the lack of responses I guess I'm not the only one who thought this episode was pretty bad.

Completely boring case ripped off from a bunch of mediocre movies.
And the Lisa and Dean thing we've seen 10 times now. Almost the exact same scenes.

At this point I'm only watching for closure. Hopefully this is the last season.

Re: Supernatural -- "Mannequin 3: The Reckoning" -- 2/18/11

Wow. That was really bad.
Sera Gamble as showrunner has failed big time since she took over. The Alpha monster now Mother arc has gone nowhere much and is not of much interest anyway. We've returned to essentially monster of the week episodes but we been there done that for the first three seasons. Castiel is MIA-so much for the heavenly war.
The show should've ended last season I'm afraid.

OMG, did any of you see the trailer for next week's episode?

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/kngoxrEo6Fg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Here's the premise:

Spoiler:
Raphael (guest star Lanette Ware) launches an attack on Castiel (Misha Collins) and his allies, sending a particularly frightening angelic hitman (guest star Carlos Sanz) after Balthazar (guest star Sebastian Roche), Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). In an effort to protect the brothers, Balthazar sends them to an alternate universe where they are the stars of a TV show called "Supernatural" and they are actors named "Jensen Ackles" and "Jared Padalecki." The brothers are confused when Castiel appears to be a tweet-happy actor named Misha Collins and Sam is married to Ruby (Genevieve Cortese).

This has epic written all over it.

Wow, horrible episode. The music montages were excessively bad, and did we really need three in one episode?

This was the first bad episode of the season. As a whole this season has been very good though. This one didn't do anything to advance the main storyline. When push comes to shove though, Sam and Dean's joking around is always entertaining despite the episode as a whole being sub-par.

We'll know soon about a 7th Season. CW typically renews a bunch of shows in February. I expect to see a renewal announcement for this, and the 'final x' for One Tree Hill.

Re: Supernatural -- "Mannequin 3: The Reckoning" -- 2/18/11

Well, I didn't think it was as horrible as some of you, but it was my least favorite episode of the season. I can see why noone wanted to post about it right away as it added nothing to this season's story arc and there wasn't really anything memorable about it.

I enjoyed the banter between Sam and Dean, but the case sucked and the "villains" were stupid.

They need to stop with the Lisa-Dean thing. Dean is alot more fun being the loner and bad boy. Lisa is hot and all, but the whole thing with him being a father figure to Ben is so out of character. The little music montage with them didn't work for me as it added no new perspective to their relationship.

So how did the girl with the possessed kidney die at the end? Did she get hit by glass?

I am looking forward to next week's episode.

Gigantic shard of glass to the belly. I also thought this ep could only be described as meh if you were being overly generous.

Pretty much exactly how I felt as well. I'm worried about the premise for next week, but if any show can pull it off, I believe it's this one.
