Definitely excited that they're continuing to release them. Read this news yesterday. Glad the art is consistent, too.

I think there's one more season left to this show, but at least it's getting released. Wish Green Acres would have that same luck though.

This means a good quality version of "And Then There Was Shawn". Hopefully its not the syndicated cut, I have a dvd with just that episode from when it aired on ABC family, and me and my friends have probably watched it at least 50 times, no lie.

Re: Boy Meets World: Season 5 ----> May 3rd!!!
Given the nature of TV shows on DVD (the concept, not the web site), I'm more than happy with original network versions (no syndicated cuts), original music, and decent presentations. When we get all that, I consider it a truly good release. If we get something beyond all that, it's icing.

Season 1 had 22 episodes and ran for a total of 525 minutes, which averages about 24 minutes per episode.
Season 2 had 23 episodes and ran for a total of 506 minutes, which averages 22 minutes per episode.
Season 3 had 22 episodes and ran for a total of 491 minutes, which averages a little more than 22 minutes per episode.
Season 4 had 22 episodes and ran for a total of 528 minutes, which averages 24 minutes per episode.
I don't know if any syndicated cuts are used at all, but 22 to 24 minutes for first-run episodes in the '90s sounds reasonable.

In And Then There Was Shawn, there was an old sort of vaudeville sounding song that was played over the school's speaker system. The lyrics were changed to be about the different characters. Does anyone happen to know what the original song is called ?

Doing a little math with the running times as reported by Amazon:
