Okay, so I just moved back to school (GO BLUE!) and my clock radio is barely getting any reception in my apartment. I've tried moving it all around the room, and there isn't really a good place to get reception. However, if I hold it close to my body, the reception increases. So, what I would like to know is, besides buying an attena (which I don't think you can for clock radios!) is there any way to increase the reception of this radio? Like I say, if you hold it close to your body it works better, so is there something else...besides a body, that you can put a radio by to boost the reception?

Thanks!

and no, it's not just this particular radio, my other one won't work either

Moving to DVD and Home Theater Hardware forum.

Hopefully, you'll get an answer over there.

I have the Terk AM model, which does plug into my receiver (got it for baseball games), but it claims to also work sitting next too clock radios/portable stereos. I would assume the FM model would work similarly, but you might want to check first.
