funny...not even the page can be found....
here's the article though....
You would fucking hope so....it's Mexico City...you don't just normally leave for no reason unless someone wants to use you as ransom.
here's the article though....
Ilya Sulkind, who produced Warner's highly successful "Superman" movie franchise in the late-1970s, has been missing from his Mexico City vacation home since Sunday.
According to his longtime business partner, John Palmer, a missing persons report has been filed with Mexican authorities.
The 63-year-old Sulkind, who was born in Mexico City, last spoke with his staff on Sunday, reporting that he was going to run some errands.
However, he left his cell phone at his home and has not been in contact with friends and work associates since.
"It's not that we're not concerned, but in the back of my mind, I hope that he's gone on his own little sojourn," Palmer told TheWrap. "Chances are good that he's enjoying himself."

Now all the money he saved from not bringing back Donner & Brando for SUPERMAN 2 he's going to have to pay up with interest. At least I hope that's what the kidnappers tell him.

Found
Ilya Salkind, who produced Warner's highly successful "Superman" franchise in the late-1970s and early 1980s, has been found alive in a Mexican hospital, according to a published report.
A website set up by friends and colleagues of the 63-year-old producer announced Thursday simply that he'd been found.
However, TMZ reported that Salkind, who disappeared from his Mexican vacation home on Sunday without his cell phone, was found Thursday by investigators in a Mexican hospital.
TMZ is also reporting that Salkind is currently under sedation, and that friends are waiting to speak to doctors.
Calls by TheWrap to Salkind's business partner, John Palmer, have not yet been returned

So I'm guessing that he was in an accident or collapsed and there was no ID so they took him to the hospital and it took several days for him to be claimed.

Re: Ilya Salkind missing (Producer of Superman films)
Anastasia Salkind tells TMZ ... she's been in contact with the caretaker of her dad's estate in Mexico, who informed her the 64-year-old producer was in serious pain when he was discovered yesterday ... after being missing for several days.
The caretaker also told Anastasia that Ilya has bruises on his head.
Anastasia tells us she believes her father was kidnapped -- though Mexican officials have not confirmed or denied her suspicion.
We're told an investigation into Ilya's disappearance is underway.
UPDATE: After we posted the story, Anastasia contacted us again to stress that her suspicions have NOT been confirmed by any one involved in the investigation.

I've been around a long time, but I don't post very often.
And while DVDTalk's "Groucho" and I are definitely on the same wavelength (reading his posts, I often feel like I have a long lost twin in Utah), my screen name refers more to the original actor/comedian/gameshow host/funniest man of the 20th Century.
...and now, back to another thrill-packed episode in the amazing adventures of SUPERMAN's...producer.

I wonder who Groucho is named after then.
