As of today 2011-02-02, the Reward Zone has "Site maintenance is in progress" until Thursday 2011-02-03. Didn't realize the site would be affected by this Historical Winter Storm..

btw.. the new RZ.com site removed the CinemaNow credits for Premier Silver. I had a code waiting for use on Feb28... called.. got Customer Satisfaction Points.. but was told they were going to get that back up in a couple days.. well.. I bet it is gone now.. cause they also changed the Napster benefit... just sayin....

The last few years I have received a bonus coupon for Reward Zone on (or around) my birthday.

It is tomorrow and I haven't received anything. I guess I could call but hopefully someone can know if this perk has been cancelled.

Was about $150 short of being a silver member this year. Didn't know it reset on dec 31st...thought I had till Feb when my 'Silver' ran out. Guess not. Oh well, looks like I'll continue shopping at Amazon (a lot of my purchases were not from me at BB. I use them as a showroom but friends and family sometimes don't).

anyone able to get thru on the customer service line? I've been disconnected 3 times today. Once after I actually got thru and was speaking to a person, got put on hold, and disconnected.

If you haven't made a purchase in a year, I think they close your account.

Whew, I just got a cert. I had been hovering at 11 points shy of a cert for a month - I made the mistake of buying some stuff during December with a gift card. Now I'm only at about 29 points which would be easier to lose. Of course I've got about another 200 points about to clear - so today is pretty much the only day I'd be "OK" with them purging the points. That is, I'd still complain, but not as loudly.
I did get a triple bonus points coupon for my birthday in January, but I did not get the holiday bonus points or cert - and I got totally no response when I contacted them.

Over the years, I've gotten hundreds of dollars worth of free goods and free shipping through the Reward Zone program, simply for buying stuff that I would have bought anyway. :shrug:

That may be, and about the only thing that saves it (along with the occasional good deal like my bonus for getting a phone) - but I'm hard pressed to find another store's plan that's as full of hoops to jump through.

Noticed today that you can "check in" on the mobile app when you are inside a store for 10 free points. You can do it twice a week.

Seemed like a good place to post this - if you are a Premier Silver member and get free Expedited shipping, you may want to check any recent orders you placed.

I placed an order for two Blu-rays last week and saw today I was charged $16 each for shipping. Had to call to get it reversed. They say they knew about it and "caught" it but obviously mine wasn't. Just another nail in the coffin.

The reward zone program is now a 3 tier membership: Free, "Elite", and "Elite Plus". My Premier Silver is now an "Elite Plus" membership. They extended my membership an additional year but added $500 onto the minimum spending requirement.

They actually added $1000 to the Premier Silver to be Elite Plus.. it used to be $2500 for Premier Silver.. now it is $3500 for Elite Plus.. ugh..

and it states 45 day return policy instead of the 60 day that Premier Silver used to have.. then in another spot it states 60 day.. why roll this out as a running change.. why not change it starting next year...

The way I understood it was that there was the basic plan, then elite and then elite plus? The Elite get 30 days, elite plus get 45 days. There's a little video that they posted/sent to email that briefly discusses the plan. Here. Had you already qualified for Premier Silver during the current year? i.e. had you already spent $2500 during the current calendar year?

My Elite Plus was not extended beyond the current Feb. 2014 end date (when my Premier Silver would have expired, because I haven't spent $2500 yet this year.)

I thought it was 45 days for Silver already?
It was increased to 60 days last year. Back to 45 days now for Elite Plus.
