Why NCIS never on "SALE" sale? 8 seasons in, you would think they would want to move some product. I am yet to see any season dip below $19.99--even from Black Friday on. Going to CostCo tomorrow, maybe I'll get lucky...

I just checked amazon's top 100 TV shows, season 7 and 3(isn't that weird?) were listed there. Some others may have been bumped off the list since there were many seasons of the Simpsons on the list since they just had that $13.99 for any season sale...interesting, has anyone ever seen a list for top selling TV dvds anywhere??? Billboard???

So what the hell is the cost of the Don't Let Me Go Blu? If it's 19.99, I'm buying it.

Just checked the website and it seems that Conviction Blu will be $22.99 and the Never Let Me Go Blu is $29.95. Fuck them.

I agree. I've never seen NCIS Season 1 on sale for less than $17.99 (at Amazon, for about 1 or 2 days, then back up to over $20). What's up with that? I'd like to see someone put NCIS seasons on a REAL sale sometime (my idea of a REAL sale on NCIS seasons is $14.99 or less, preferably less). How do all these other TV shows get to be on sale for $13.99 (sometimes less) but NCIS has never been on sale anywhere for less than $17.99 for Season 1 (normally $20), with newer seasons regularly selling for $25 to $40+? -kd5-

Glad to see the long version of Almost Famous is back in print. ALMOST enough to make me want to buy a Blu. Almost only though................

They typically don't match the ad prices ahead of the ad actually being published, but, hey! Way to overreact!

Damn the bluray on Never Let me Go is $29.99. There's no way I'm paying that price. Oops scratch that, it's actually $19.99. That's a much better price.

Apocolypse for me, but I wonder if Fantastic Mr. Fox is the combo set with digital/DVD. Anyone know?

I wondered the same thing, but on Amazon there is only a 3 disc edition so unless BB has their own special edition 1 disc edition I sure HOPE it's the 3 disc for $10. Their thumbnail picture shows the 3 disc... not that that matters. If they give us the wrong one then all we could do is return it.

I did an in-store pickup (forcing me to pick a store even though I don't know which one I'll be going near) because I'm worried Fantastic Mr. Fox will be out of stock before I go to BB on Monday. Since Apocalypse Now is the 2 disc (not the 3 disc version) I'll pass on it, especially since it's not a favorite movie and one I want to buy cheaper than $10.

I looooooove Let Me In. I'm just the opposite though - I don't like reading subtitles, so I didn't care for the original.

I saw NCIS S1 at Target with their seasonal merchandise (the 2-packs of CSI, Brady Bunch, etc). They were $12 last week and I guess this week they will now be $15. Didn't check NCIS specifically, but it should be $15 dollars this week.

Must be a local deal, I look at our local Target every week (usually Sunday or Monday) and I've never seen NCIS there for less than $20, they usually only ever have the latest seasons too. Believe me, if I'd seen S1 of NCIS for $12 I'd have snagged it. -kd5-

Re: Best Buy Media Prices (January 30 - February 5, 2011)

As far as BestBuy and NCIS is concerned, I've never seen seasons on sale for any less that the current sale price of $19.99. That's their idea of a sale...

Regarding this week's sale, I didn't see anything of any value to me when I went there yesterday, but thanks for posting the ad! -kd5-
