I am trying to think of a movie where the main character starts seeing some surreal images/sequences. There aren't too many images, and they are scattered throughout the film. I can't tell you if it's a Steve Martin or a Jacques Tati, but I think it may have been a comedy of sorts.

I think two of the surreal images are:
* a guy pedaling his bike, but moving backwards
* milk (or a beverage) pouring itself from the glass back into a pitcher/container

edit: As I think about it, I think it is Box of Moonlight. Quick search confirms YES! Sorry to bother the forum...

but if you haven't seen Box of Moonlight, you should.
