I have to assume that the woman who Aidan "killed" at the beginning of last week's episode and is missing will somehow fit into the backdrop of this show.

Yeah I know, I'm saying is going to a part of the overall story arc of this season with Aidan's character.

Gotcha. When I was setting my dvr to record tonight's episode, the original air date was 8/1/09. Is this just a mistake or did it air somewhere else first?

Probably a mistake or your DVR may be confusing this with the British version.

These are airing 1st run right now.

Yeah, SyFy only shows the originals on, not the remake. WTF?

It was just a mistake in the description, it's the new episode. I checked next week and it has the correct air date.

I still don't understand why they made werewolves so weak and pathetic. The "curse" of vampirism at least has some compensations. There's nothing good about being a werewolf. Given the obvious contempt vampires have for werewolves, their weakness 29 out of 30 days a month, and the ability of vampires to instantly identify them by smell, the vampires should have wiped out the werewolves a long time ago.

I think with Josh he is still accepting that he is werewolf. If they follow the UK version,
Spoiler:
we will probably see a strong werewolf introduced later on in the show and hints of power struggles between vampires and werewolves are shown.

Not too much interest in this I guess. I thought this was a strong episode, setting up more conflict among the vampires and developing the main cast's relationships.

The ghost is hot. I like the little wardrobe touch of dressing her in a sweater that resembles classic ghost garb.

The show does have promise, though I imagine anyone with interest in the concept has already viewed at least some of the BBC series. That takes away some of the suspense in watching the plot unfold.

Yeah I liked this one better than the premier, and I enjoyed it as well... My only issue is that yeah, Josh is too much of a pussy for a werewolf. I get he is still learning to be one, but he should have some increased strength and be a little more menacing when not an actual wolf. AT least be able to handle himself over the ****y new vampire.

Re: Being Human -- "There Goes the Neighborhood Part 2" -- 1/24/11

I just watch the first two episodes OnDemand. I like them and thought the show has a lot of promise. Josh trying to be funny is slightly annoying, but if this was as close to the original as stated, I suspect the humor will improve. Brit TV doesn't usually transfer well to America when it's shot for shot. I won't be watching this live, but will keep up via OnDemand
