Re: What's the latest book you bought?
From Half Price Books:
Bond on Set: Filming Casino Royale - Greg Williams
The Art of Sleepy Hollow - Including the Screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker, with an Introduction by Tim Burton
Both were $3.98. I had a $5.00 gift card (for purchasing a $25 card in December), and had a dollar in credit, so I only paid a couple bucks out of pocket. The Bond book is smaller, and I think it was a store exclusive with the original DVD release (Target, maybe?).

My last purchase was Bob Bondurant on Police and Pursuit Driving. I read the first chapter on Google Books and had to read the rest. It seems to be in demand, because it goes for big bucks on Amazon Marketplace. Luckily someone was selling a cheaper copy on Ebay.uk.

Went to Half Price Books yesterday for their 20% off sale. The only book I bought was The Supergirls by Mike Maldrid. It was $4.78 after the discount.
I also bought Star Trek: Movie Comic Book Collection on CD-ROM and a stack of issues of Batman: Shadow of the Bat to replace ones I used to own.

Timeline - Michael Crichton
The Songs Of Distant Earth - Arthur C. Clarke
Starshield Sentinels - Margaret Weis/Tracy Hickman
I think I'll read Clarke once I've finished with The Great Book Of Amber (Zelazny), this book is taking a LONG time to read. -kd5-

Re: What's the latest book you bought?
I've been picking up a number of books on leadership, project management etc for work but, on the entertainment side, I bought a volume that for some reason (ahem) I thought might appeal to my 11-year old nephew:
Unlike most of the family, he doesn't read a great deal but I gather that the London-based kids adventure tale (The London Eye Mystery) that I gave him at christmas went down well.
