More sequels to "The Last Picture Show" planned (Bogdanovich/Bridges to return)

I'd see these. "The Last Picture Show" is one of the greatest films ever made IMO. And while "Texasville" was no where close, I still enjoyed it.

Bridges should play a different character in the new sequel, one that he's played already somewhere else, either Bad Blake or "the Dude," whichever seems more appropriate. Or, hell, even Rooster Cogburn. That would make it more interesting.

Is this where I admit I've never seen The Last Picture Show?

Huh, I didn't know that McMurtry had written anything for this series past Duane's Depressed (the Texasville sequel), but I guess there are new books.

Dude! This surprises me. It's a great film. Really gives one a feel of living in a small Texas town. Plus the Hank Williams songs really completes it.

I'll go even further and admit the only Bogdanovich film I've ever seen is What's Up, Doc?

At least the one you've seen is a good one.

AHHH!!!

You seriously need to see (in this order) 'Paper Moon' then LPS.

Everything else?, maybe if you like those.

'Paper Moon' is one of my all time favs. Fantastic little film. And LPS is another great film.

The Last Picture Show is one of my all-time favorites. Same with Paper Moon. Texasville pretty much sucked.

I'd see another sequel but please make it better than Texasville.

"Paper Moon" and "LPS" are Bogdanovich's masterpieces.

You need to pick up Targets. It's a Paramount title that's gone out of print but still bringing just normal prices. Boris Karloff as horror star(basicly playing himself) making personal appearance at drive-in showing his latest film. Just happens to be a sniper up in the drive-in screen picking people off.
