I'll be remembering him today by watching A Shot in the Dark, my favorite of the Panther films, which is conveniently available on Instant Netflix: http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/A_...637#height1421

Re: RIP Blake Edwards
Just a few months ago I was treated to a double feature of The Pink Panther and A Shot In The Dark at the Aero Theater. Blake Edwards will be missed.

Re: RIP Blake Edwards
I just watched "10" for the first time the other day. I love the Pink Panther films. I think Skin Deep is underrated too but it is very 80's. I also like Blind Date too. RIP.

The glow in the dark condom sequence in Skin Deep is one of the funniest things i've ever seen.

My favorite Edwards film is the service comedy, THE PERFECT FURLOUGH (1958), starring Tony Curtis, Janet Leigh and Linda Cristal. OPERATION PETTICOAT'S not bad, either.

Re: RIP Blake Edwards
Always loved the Pink Panther series. Except for Son of the Pink Panther, of course.
I've also enjoyed Skin Deep and Switch.
Never saw Breakfast at Tiffany's, Blnd Date, or 10.

Re: RIP Blake Edwards
I think it's criminal that basically no one knows it even exists, but 'Wild Rovers' is probably my favorite film from him.
What a cast: Willaim Holden, Karl Malden, Tom Skerritt, Joe Don Baker, Ryan O'Neal, Moses Gunn, Victor French, etc.
Love that film.
