And the streak continues. I don't know what happened between last season and this season, but the writers seem infused with so much more creativity and talent. Every episode this season has been great and tonight's was no exception.
The voiceovers were used to great comedic effect. I love the return of telepathy between Marshall and Lily. Her line about having an alien inside her killed me. It was funny that when everyone else was thinking what they were going to do with their life, Ted was thinking about the Christmas-Themed movie snack.
Nice callback to Marshall getting married and shaving his head.
The listserv for the stripper named Charity was great, as was "Barney's Favorite Things."
Most importantly of all, I actually liked Ted at the end. Him screaming and yelling at everyone to put them on the right path was just so well done. Alerting the criminals of New York of the diamond suit, throwing the coin at Robin and only giving her one choice, and describing what Marshal and Lily would do at home, all truly great Ted moments. I usually don't like him, but tonight he shined.

I agree, this season has been light years better than last year. I also loved Ted at the end. I especially liked when his buddy called freaked out about the wedding. "You love her!" "You're right." Click.

This was also one of the highest rated episodes of the series thus far, broke 10m viewers.
