Even though this is not the official Series Premiere, I figure this is worth mentioning since 20 minutes of a 60 minute Pilot is a fairly good sampling.

I'll wait for entire premiere. With the amount of promos Showtime has been running for this show, I feel like I have already seen 20 minutes of it.

^ Yeah, no joke. I'll wait for the premiere as well. Also, interesting why Showtime is promoting the hell out of this show while virtually nothing has been promoted for Episodes (Matt LeBlanc).

Yeah, it's hard to imagine this being up there with the UK version. I do like WH Macy, though, so I'll give it a shot.

Incidentally, I believe Series 8 of the UK Shameless is supposed to start airing sometime in January (actually, the 24th), and will be a record 22 episodes. I'm really looking forward to that.

While she's been in many things (Mystic River, Phantom of the Opera, etc...), I remember her best as the girl that Donnie Darko had the crush on in the Day After Tomorrow.

Looks like it could be entertaining, emmy rossum looked hot in that scene. I wasn't aware of the british version, hopefully it's a better american translation than top gear..

The British one is one of my favorite shows, so I'll check it out cautiously.

I thought this was great. Likable cast, funny moments and it doesn't hurt that Emmy Rossum is hot. I had no idea there was a British version until reading this thread so I can't compare. But I'm looking forward to the full premiere and getting to see more of William H. Macy's character.

Yeah, I noticed that in the teaser posted, but that may or may not be a good thing.

I initially hated it when the US Office first episode that did that, but thankfully they went their own way. Maybe Shameless will do the same thing?
