Strange.

I have right now 1100 fristlook points and tested to redeem an Amazon GC. In rules they say that no mailing to outside US & Canda but when you enter mail address you can select country form a very long list???

Have anyone got a good information about this situation?

Someone else on another thread (can't remember who) emailed Firstlook to ask if they were still eligible for the free vouchers etc and they wrote back saying that anyone worldwide can take part and get points, but only those in the US (and Canada??) can receive GCs as they are snail mailed rather than emailed.
They said that they may in the future open up to those in Europe etc but they don't know when.
I'll keep reviewing the odd song/film etc in the hope that I'll one day be able to claim back my points.

That is SOOO bloody stupid! Why accept the members if you cannot pay them?
Why?Because if you redeem your points or not, they still make the money from you! I smell a rat!

Hopefully their policy is changing now that several people have been receiving their GCs by e-mail rather than USPS

So who is going to be the first non-US member to risk cashing in 1000 points and seeing if they get a Gift certificate back via e-mail?
C'mon - someone has to have a go.....

Someone posting on dvdweb.co.uk has tried it but hasn't posted how he got on yet.
I e-mailed them today to see if they were changing their policy from snailmail to email. No response yet though

Did all of you receive a confirmation mail after claiming the reward?

I've applied for the $20 dollar Amazon GC today. It still asks you for your address when you apply for it. Anyway I hope they continue sending them out to international people as they have done with the $10 GC's.

I'll post on here if I get it.

I just received $20 Amazon GC through email, which was applied on April 19.

Even they still ask you to fill out the address, they send by e-mail.

I cashed one out on 15 April for Amazon $20, and still nothing!
I have e-mailed them, and they still have not bothered to even reply!

Do you reckon it will ever arrive?

Did you all give them your real (international) adress, or did you just use some e-tailer/hotel/random adress?

The $20 Amazon coupon I applied for arrived today. To answer Salaman's question I used my real address on the form.

I ordered mine ten days ago, and used my Philippines address, and got it today! What's more, they sent me two $20 GCs instead of one! But they followed up by saying that when I reach my next 2000 points, they won't send me a GC for that anymore.

I ordered two in the last three weeks. Received one yesterday via e-mail. They have my proper address. Now where's the other one?
