Man, I missed this show in the brief hiatus. This episode flew by for me too. Before I knew it, it was over. It definitely didn't feel like 30 minutes. But I really liked the episode and it was nice to see Troy being the mature one for a change. I don't know when it happened, but he's definitely my favourite character on the show. Donald Glover's comedic timing is impeccable.
I liked how they still gave Troy a birthday cake even though he's a Jehovah's Witness. Him being 10 twice
I loved the guy hitting on Abed and Abed's reason for playing along: "I just really, really like talking about Farscape."
Those pictures of Shirley were awful. Annie running with the identity on the fake ID was hilarious. I liked how they were warned Annie not to go with any guys to the bathroom too. And the bouncer letting Annie in without checking her ID, then going to great lengths to make sure Britta was 21, haha.
I lost it when Troy realized Jeff and Britta were both talking about the exact same bar.
I like how after Troy said no one did anything really embarassing it quickly cuts to Jeff and Britta making out, followed by Abed saying, "Why would you do it in front of me? I'm not a coat rack."
I can't remember when it was brought up, but we were trying to figure out where Annie lived. We knew that Troy lived with Pierce in his house, that Abed lives in a dorm, Shirley has a house with her kids, and then Jeff and Britta presumably have apartments. I think it was undecided if Annie still lived with her parents or not. Look like we got our answer tonight. She lives in a crappy apartment in the rough part of town, lol.

I loved Jeff groaning when they mentioned Troy shared a birthday with Tyra Banks, one of Joel's favorite targets on The Soup

I can't believe how much I'm loving this show. Halfway through it, I was thinking it was a little mediocre, and that I guess they were due a clunker. But the last ten minutes was perfect. They always seem to add something new to the mix.
Then the preview for next week's Christmas claymation episode made me almost cry from joy. Wow. Still not in Arrested Development class, but getting darn close.

The only thing missing from this episode was some awesome one-liners from Chang, otherwise a fantastic episode! I actually thought they were gonna have Troy and Annie hook up at her apartment.
I can't wait for next weeks episode! I think this might be the episode to top the Modern Warfare one as my favorite.

Great episode--I loved Shirley's drunk pictures all over the bar!

I did like the humanity/character elements of this episode (it doesn't need to be hilarity all the time), but as a whole it felt really disjointed. Just didn't seem to flow that well.
I loved the jab at Tyra Banks as well. The Soup LOVES to bash Tyra. Don't know if it is actually true, but she allegedly sent a Cease and desist letter to have the Soup stop airing her clips. But apparently, clips are fair game within a week of airing or something like that?

I wasn't "very" disappointed but I tend to agree with the consensus that it wasn't a particularly good episode. Some decent character moments but it forgot to bring the funny for the most part.

It was an OK episode.
Anyone else find Annie even hotter when she talked with a Texan accent?

*shrug* I thought it was a good episode. I missed the "next week on," though, so I guess I'll be surprised next week.

Annie was hilarious this ep:
"I grew up on a trout farm"
"Plans just fall off me like chicken crap off a armadillo"

Not a bad episode, just a bit "off." Probably the weakest episode of the series since the early episodes.

I loved the episode. Mature Troy, Texas Annie, Shirley's pictures- lots of good stuff. Plus it had a bit of heart which was nice.
And it's certainly nowhere near the worst episode (that would be Abed's Jesus Film episode).

That's why I loved the episode so much, it was different. No need for jokes every minute, I like the depth they're putting into the characters. Hope they take that Shirley storyline somewhere good, her character is a bit wasted/one trick too often. Loved the depth given to Annie and Troy this episode.
