Can't offer any insight as to the picture quality, but perhaps also double-check the runtime if you can...I recall that at least one Japanese DVD release of this movie featured a significantly shorter cut of the film.

I was under the impression that the version that circulated online that a fan had cobbled together was the only complete print. Spaghetti Westerns are almost as hard to be a fan of as gialli and Hong Kong cinema; good releases of or any releases of some films are impossible to find.

Well the disc is from Sony Pictures Entertainment so I'd strongly suspect it's Columbia's U.S. version or a complete international cut; running time is listed at 90 minutes and though I see no listing, is probably 16:9 enhanced widescreen. Don't know the film myself but the disc comes with a trailer, poster and still gallery, among other things and is cheap, too.

I'd say take a chance!

The runtime of the nicely done Franco Cleef Reconstruction - mentioned by hanshotfirst113 - is 1:45:xx...approximately 16 minutes longer than the Japanese release.

No English language track. I'll stick with the Franco Cleef reconstruction.
