"Oh, you're going to shoot me for mouthing off?"

"Well, I wasn't going to. But you kind of talked me into it,"

Decent episode tonight.

I figured Van Alden was going to try and use Lucy to get info on Nucky, kind of surprised that went where it did.

Most unsexy sex scene ever!

I felt kind if akward watching it.

Jimmy was great too.

I fucking love this show. I literally have no problems with it, which is mind blowing to me. So much stuff just works for me with the performances by everyone involved.

Jimmy's embarrassed expression after shooting one of the brothers was hilarious.

Van Alden can't exit this show soon enough; maybe the next religious gman won't be psychotic. Even so, BE remains the best show on television.

And what is it about this girl that she always appears/talks intoxicated or on drugs? There's something inanely sexy about that.

Al Capone impressed me this week, with his introspection and reflection. That padre really got to him regarding his "you're a man yet you wear a boy's headgear" comment.

^ Agreed. Al had some great scenes this week. Still loving this show as well -- loved the final shot w/ Margaret catching herself in the mirror (in reference to her earlier conversation with "the tin man").

You find it sexy, I find it insanely annoying. She talks like she has had some sort of stroke that's left her with brain damage!

Loving the show but I agree about Van Alden. I get the need to have an obsessed lawman trying to take down Nucky, but hes like a caricature.

I find the two sides of Nelson very interesting. Outwardly, he has his "morals" but he is obviously sick and twisted. I wonder if the character(and Michael Shannon one of my favorite actors) will be around long enough to show what really drives him.

The shot to the head had me but then the strangulation had me

Just a great episode and the shit is indeed hitting the fan.

Pretty sure that final shot was in reference to her conversation with the Fed, not "tin man".

It was both; Harrow's chat about forgetting how he looks until he sees himself in the mirror is what Margaret's thinking about, and how she's looking at how much she's changed from the girl who came to Ellis Island.

I appreciate seeing Nelson cutting loose, but I really, really didn't think he'd declare himself to Margaret like that. Upset about the case? Sure, but this doesn't seem logically escalated from the same guy in the pilot, or even the weirdo stealing her hair ribbon.

And she is thinking that her change has not been for the better:

"Sometimes I forget what I look like. Then I pass a mirror, and I remember. I stare sometimes at my face, and can't recall how I was before."
