Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Stone and Sanchez, dealing with the fallout from their personal attraction, are assigned with Fitch to investigate the murder of successful executive Abigail James from Detroit's "Tech Town." Is this a case of corporate competition gone haywire or the result of a messy love triangle? At the same time, Longford and Washington need to piece together the back story of another fresh murder case -- the lifeless body of a young drug dealer, "Toucan," is discovered in a trash bin, but is it strictly street business or pure personal passion? Meanwhile, Mahajan must search the city for a crucial eyewitness who failed to show in court to help convict a vicious skinhead of murder, and without him the killer may walk.

Looking forward to this since I just bailed on Five-0.

Hawaii Five-0 is probably getting picked up while this show is likely to be canceled.

Hawaii Five-O got a full season.

This got 5 extra episodes, hence my OP mentions episode 7 of 18.

I, on the otherhand, love this show. If shit like "The Event" can get a full season and this can't, that's pretty fucking sad.

The music alone is worth tuning in for. Yeah, it's a"paint-by-the-numbers" cop show (WTF). It was obviously going to be that (and only that) from the start, for anyone who cared to pay attention. The characters are what make these shows, and I'm a huge fan of Imperiolli, so I'm loving Fitch.

And since commercial ridden "Tripe" like Five-0 can get a full season and this doesn't get picked up I once again have lost hope in OTA TV.

I enjoy this show. The writing could be a little better but overall I enjoy the shows up to this point.

I have to ask, what attracted to you to this show in the 1st place? Just because it was shot in Detroit? To me it sounds like you don't even really like watching Police Procedurals since this is boring you to death. The style and feel of this show is very similar to NYPD Blue, which was one of ABC's most popular procedurals in the 90's...and let me guess, you probably never watched that show either.
