Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Abed becomes a "mean girl" to the delight of Britta, Shirley and Annie, whose encounter with a cruel classmate (Hilary Duff) leaves them reeling. Elsewhere, Jeff and Troy find a hidden trampoline, which provides the duo spiritual enlightenment. The change in their personalities doesn't go unnoticed, however, and Pierce becomes determined to get to the bottom of things.

Episode 7 of 24

Some really good news. Ratings were up last week and NBC gave the show 2 more episodes. We now have 24.

I can honestly say this is the only series that I look forward on a weekly basis.

"Non whites ruin everything"

The parts with Chang were great!

Yeah, Chang was used to great effect this episode.

Abed's delivery of all the insults was perfect.

Troy crying at the end as Pierce forced him to double-jump had me dying.

The whole racist thing came out of nowhere, but was hilarious. I loved the flashbacks, and how they got progressively less ambiguous. Them casually buying that the Nazi Swastika was actually just the start of a maze, lol.

That episode brought all kinds of awesome... Robocop Abed, the racist groundskeeper, Chang. I especially busted up at Pierce having to blow up the image of the camera instructions. Funniest episode of the season so far, and on the level of the Modern Warfare one from last year.

Troys reaction to finding out that Joshua was a racist was pure gold.

Some of the side notes on Abed's Robocop analysis:

"Record Cougartown"
"Troy's birthday in 14 days"
"Get Rudolph for Xmas"
"Confirm mom for Xmas"
"Make blanket fort"
"Book Starburns for T&A in the AM"

I especially liked seeing this on Abed's final targeting screen:

"Sell study group on paintball sequel"

Very good episode, perhaps even better than the Halloween episode.

Re: Community -- "Aerodynamics of Gender" -- 11/04/10

This episode was a little weird at first, because of the change of pacing in the scenes from "trampoline paradise".

Abed's Robocop vision and the racist groundskeeper at the end were the highlights. Gotta love Abed's "breakdown" towards the end: "Confirmed: You are all bitches" And let's not forget Annie's attempt at the Boob high-five at the beginning.

I had to laugh when Troy entered the secret area in search of the basketball, because the first thing that occurred to me was: Apply CBS movie-of-the-week filter NOW.

Fixed. I had to point out their mistake. They used the word twice.

Great.

When the groundskeeper first started being racist, I thought it was the calmness of the trampoline that kept his hatred in check, but I loved the slow reveal. "It's going to be a maze."

I loved one of Abed's tracking things in RoboCop mode was the next upcoming "cycle" of the ladies.

Did anyone else notice the wires suspending/steadying Pierce's RC helicopter? I started to notice them in the scene where he used it to tail Jeff and Troy and then couldn't help noticing it for the rest of the episode.

Yeah I saw it too.

Something tells me they don't care if it was noticed or not. Maybe even intentional.
