Alone III: The Pinkerton Years - coming December
Coming December: http://weezerpedia.com/wiki/index.ph...inkerton_Years
Alone III: The Pinkerton Years is a compilation album by Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo. It will be the third entry in the Alone series following 2007's Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo and 2008's Alone II: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo. The title "Alone III: The Pinkerton Years" comes from a posting by Rivers Cuomo on the weezer.com forums. On the release date of Hurley, during the 98.7 radio event "Breakfast With Weezer", Cuomo stated that Alone III would come out in December 2010 and would contain the rest of the unreleased Songs from the Black Hole.

Oh get over it. At least its coming at all. I'm glad to see this is coming though I've enjoyed the other two for what they are.

hopefully, someone will sequence the Songs from the Black Hole record and put it up somewhere to download. I'd do it, but I'm too lazy.

It's December 2nd, and it isn't even on Amazon yet. Was this delayed?
(wow, the link doesn't even show anything anymore. Maybe the whole idea is getting a "make-over," or it was, gasp, cancelled altogether.)

I found the page for it by typing in Alone III, but yeah it was never officially announced.
I don't believe there's really a proper sequence for the songs. I've seen a bunch of different orders for the tracklisting for this "album" over the years. Unless Rivers and co. have a proper one out there somewhere.
