I was hoping the producers/someone at CBS would be classy enough to remember James MacArthur with a tribute card. Nice touch.

Well, I wonder if she's recurring, because they didn't give Kelly much to do that the Governor couldn't have done. But it's good to see Loggia back in Hawaii and I've always liked Adam Beach when he was on L&O:SVU.

Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "Ho'apono" -- 11/01/10

1st of all, very nice touch at the beginning of the episode to show the photo of James MacArthur to pay tribute to him.

Thought the episode was just so-so. They didn't give Kelly Hu shit to do. I have to think with a full season now they could bring her back in some capacity. I like Adam Beach, but I hated his character in this episode. I realize he was fucked up in the head, but even then that doesn't excuse him not being able to think rationally when McGarrett was clearly pointing out the facts and that he was there to help. I thought the little hostage standoff went a little too long and Beach's character was a dick for the most part.

It's good to see Robert fucking Loggia still acting. I went to Hawaii 3 years ago and enjoyed that tour of the U.S.S. Missouri.

I thought this was a pretty good episode, although I missed the beginning so I had no idea about the MacArthur tribute pic. I'll have to find it online.
Lots of guest stars: Loggia, Hu, Beach and how about Edgar from 24?

How touching he's reunited with his daughter at the end. Right before he gets sent up the river for 25+ years.

It's got to be the time slot. I flipped channels until I landed on it and said "Oh well, might as well watch this."

Yup, here's the confirmation on the new Wo Fat. I would love them to utilize his martial arts training for this role.

He's hardly fat. I disagree with the use of martial arts if they are looking to be faithful to the original(I know that they haven't so far). The original Wo Fat was a mastermind that had goons do his bidding. He wouldn't sully his manicured hands with violence.

This show just seems to get worse each week. A hobbled Scott Caan isn't helping things since the rest of the cast is fairly mediocre. And the show is a great tourism ad for anyplace but Hawaii -- "Come to Hawaii where your haole ass will be terrorized by bitter local boys and the state police have Gestapo like powers."

I agree with ya 100%. They need to change the name to "Chevrolet presents Hawaii Five-0"

Except for the police part, isn't that pretty true to the real Hawaii?

I mean, really.

It'll be fun to see the ICA chairman on the show.

IMO they've had five really good episodes and two weak ones. I'm satisfied with the show so far.

It used to be bad, but now they bitch about all the Chamorro's migrating in.
