My wife and I really enjoy this show and out of the 3 cops this season (187,fiveO,blue bloods) We both felt this is the best one.

Its a shame its against Good Wife and Sons.

Another good episode. I like how they intertwine the two cases of the week - it keeps the show moving at a good pace.

I think I'm done with this one. I do not like the bald lieutenant (here, let's have her daughter watch the interrogations on a laptop!), and the scene in the church probably sealed it for me. That woman pulled that gun out fast and was pointing it right at them, and we're supposed to believe a cop (Fancy!) would not shoot but PUT DOWN his gun, while his partner likewise did not shoot? Uh-huh...

Personal preference, I'll stick with Blue Bloods and pass on this, as much as I wanted to like it.

I finally got around to watching this series and I really like it. Haven't caught this episode yet, but I enjoy all the characters. Would really like to see this stick around, but the ratings are poor, aren't they?

Not great but not horrible either.

"Detroit 1-8-7 rose 0.2 vs. last week’s finals to a 1.9 rating, tying NBC’s Parenthood with adults 18-49 and beating it easily with total viewers. The 1.9 adults 18-49 rating for Parenthood was a series low. The Good Wife easily won the 10pm hour and its 2.6 adults 18-49 rating was its best since last March."

The ratings are relatively poorer because of how much better of a lead-in 1-8-7 has. Parenthood does a better job at retaining viewers.

I don't think this show will get more than the 13 episode order.

Finally watched the latest ep this evening online. Really enjoyed this one. Hope this series makes the cut and is allowed to continue on into next year.

I agree about the bald lieutenant....they need to replace her with someone else if possible. She is the only weak link on the show in my opinion.
